For example, one of our large customers had a production process that called for loaded carts to be moved from a fabication shop to an assembly shop. The cart stayed in the assembly area as parts were removed one-by-one during the assembly process. As a result, empty carts tended to accumulate. We designed towable carts that could easily be linked together to allow one person to retrieve several empty carts in a single trip.
Our towable carts now come in several sizes and styles to fit a customer's specifications.
Large parts warehouses can often benefit from the use of kicker carts. A kicker cart adds scooter functionality to a traditional cart, making it easy for stock pickers to glide quickly up and down warehouse aisles to fill orders. In many cases, the addition of kicker carts can double the number of items a stock picker can retrieve in an hour.
